The Red Carpet

It's been a good long day on the slopes and we've come back to the apartment to watch the Golden Globes red carpet. To be fair, I did spend the entire afternoon watching football Yesterday so I'm giving the TV up to the Mrs as a token of good will. Pizza later. Can't wait Things are a little icy up the mountain but the forecast is for snow for the rest of our time here this week, so fingers crossed Here is the weather

Remember, remember

This past Saturday, we decided to take the kids to The Rec for the first time to see the council's 'official' firework party. They both loved it, although Ava did somehow manage to fall asleep on Fi's shoulders somehow. I shot a small video with my iphone: Take a look
This is a test. Does it work? IPhone app ahoy!

There have been a few too many warm lounging shots in my 365 already, but here's another one.

I'll make no apologies for today's though. Firstly this is our new chair. We've had a spare corner in the living room for a while now, but now we're sorted. Secondly, I'm completely exhausted, and this exactly what I intend to do for the rest of the day.

If I shoot a sadder picture than this year, I'll be disappointed. In one way or another I have been working on trying to get this system upgraded for 5 Years, so this is the end of a very long road for me. It's also a very long day, contributing to the quality of this picture.

Done .

18/365 Perhaps not just yet, but...

There's nothing like something good in the post to cheer you up. A nice royalty cheque from the book has sorted me out for the day. Mutual back-slapping for all involved.

Still available incidentally

For some reason, when you ask Harrison to be a statue, he stands like this without fail.

Here's my slightly camp tribute. Oh dear.

15/365 Just like the good old days

It's been a turbulent year for Bath Rugby. Erratic in all competitions prior to Christmas, they seemed to have turned a corner for 2011. Two wins from two this year before today's match against Aironi (not 'Airioni', annoying man behind me), but the performances haven't been convincing.

Today we came out all guns blazing. The Italians aren't the toughest competitors we'll meet this season, but an eight try thrashing was just the performance we needed.

Long, tough but very rewarding week at work. Completely ready for the weekend now. A bit more craziness early next week and then we're done with BW Upgrade.

Another shot from my iPhone's Camera + app.

Thankfully these crutches aren't mine. Unfortunately, they are my Mother in Law's. She's been visiting from Spain over Christmas and the New Year. Yesterday she took a tumble in our back garden and hurt her ankle. Turned out to be a broken leg.

Could be an extended visit.

Yawn.
